The kimono "Almond Blossom" is based on Vincent van Gogh's painting "Almond Blossom." The kimono features blossoming branches against a turquoise blue background with natural shades of green and white. Vincent painted one of his favorite subjects: large, blossoming branches against a blue sky. He created this painting as a gift for the birth of his godson, Vincent Willem, who was also named after him. As a symbol of young life, Vincent chose the branches of the almond tree, one of the earliest trees to bloom, heralding spring as early as February. Van Gogh drew inspiration from Japanese art for the subject, the sharp outlines, and the placement of the tree in the painting.

High quality
The Almond Blossom kimono is made of 100% high-quality Tencel with a weight of 115 g/m². It can be washed with similar colors up to 30 degrees Celsius and is tumble-dryable.
Sustainable material
Tencel is made from eucalyptus wood, which is grown under much stricter, more controlled and regulated conditions. The chemicals used are filtered and reused, unlike many other raw materials where chemicals are released back into the environment. Tencel is therefore much more sustainable.
