The cabinet contains the 4 only known sketchbooks by Vincent van Gogh. Due to the vulnerability, the originals are permanently in the museum vault and are therefore not visible to the public.
The edition is indistinguishable from the original and are all numbered (1000 copies).

Also on the underside of the cabinet is a switch list of also walnut wood slid for the individual sketches.

The facsimiles are supplied in a walnut wood cabinet, 35 x 35 x 35 cm, and are each in a separate felt-covered drawer that can be opened from all four sides of the cabinet. The publication is accompanied by an accompanying, richly illustrated book about the sketchbooks and the period in which they were made.
